People believe that wines are only made from grapes, but there are scores of other fruits that go into the making of a wine. Apples, bananas, strawberries, elderberries and blackberries are only some of the other fruits that are also used. The classification of wines varies from region to region, as the European wines are categorized into terms like Bordeaux and Chianti. The non-European wines get their classification by grapes used, like Pinot Noir and Merlot. In India wines are very popular and wine used in many occasion.
